Background

In order to restore/conserve the Grade B St. Roques Library a major investment is required. The restoration process will include the building, garden footprint, walls, railings, and terrace areas as well as a new roof and stone clean for the exterior walls/elevations. However, the original idea to develop Licenced/Gastro Pub has not been successful we believe due to the combined effects of the pandemic and then the cost-of-living crisis. Therefore, to preserve this once threatened architectural gem the decision to move to Residential has been made and will see a scheme developed that will maximise the latent potential of much neglected Listed Building which has a rich cultural heritage.
